Terms and Conditions

All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment. A booking is not secured until payment has cleared. Will Robinson trading as Making Memories with Marigold will issue a booking confirmation by email once payment is received. Please check your confirmation carefully and notify me of any errors within 48 hours.

Payment is accepted by bank transfer or such other methods as advised at the time of booking.

The Chauffeured Day Trip includes travel within Essex, up to three hours in duration, for maximum four passengers. A stop for refreshments is included. Food and drink at the refreshment stop are not included and are at the passenger's own expense.

No photography service is provided. I may occasionally take a snap or two when the van is stationary, entirely at my discretion and as a goodwill gesture only. This does not form part of the booked service.

Wedding and prom hire includes chauffeur-driven travel as agreed at the time of booking. Specific route, timing, and duration will be confirmed in writing prior to the event.

I understand that plans change. One reschedule will be honoured per booking, subject to availability, provided at least 7 days' notice is given. Rescheduled bookings must take place within 12 months of the original booking date. No further rescheduling is available after this.

All cancellations must be made in writing to makingmemorieswithmarigold@gmail.com. The date of cancellation is the date the written notice is received. No refunds are offered. I would encourage you to consider rescheduling your booking (see section 3) rather than cancelling.

I will only cancel a confirmed booking in exceptional circumstances: mechanical failure, illness, or events beyond my reasonable control. In the event that I cancel, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid, or the option to reschedule at no extra cost. I am not liable for any additional costs you may have incurred, including travel, accommodation, or other arrangements made in connection with the booking.

Marigold is a 1973 vintage vehicle and, while she is maintained to a high standard, mechanical issues can occasionally arise at short notice. In the unlikely event of a breakdown during your trip, alternative transport will be arranged for your party at no extra cost to you. Every reasonable effort will be made to ensure you reach your destination.

I want everyone to have a wonderful time. Passengers are asked to treat Marigold and her interior with care. I reserve the right to end a trip early in the event of behaviour that is abusive, unsafe, or causing damage to the vehicle, with no refund issued. No smoking is permitted in or around the vehicle at any time. Food and drink inside the vehicle is at the driver's discretion.

Marigold is a vintage vehicle with a raised step entry. Passengers with mobility considerations are warmly encouraged to get in touch before booking so I can discuss whether the experience is suitable and make any reasonable adjustments. I want this to be enjoyable and comfortable for everyone.

Making Memories with Marigold does not offer a photography service. Any photographs taken informally during a trip are taken entirely at the driver's discretion, when stationary, and as a gesture of goodwill only. Passengers have no entitlement to photographs as part of their booking.

Where informal photographs are taken and shared, Making Memories with Marigold may use these for marketing purposes including social media and the website, unless you notify me in writing at the time of booking that you do not consent to this. I will never share photographs of children without explicit written consent from a parent or guardian.

Making Memories with Marigold holds appropriate commercial passenger vehicle insurance. My liability to you in connection with your booking is limited to the value of the booking fee paid. I am not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from circumstances outside my reasonable control.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
