    A few of the things people ask before booking a trip in Marigold. If your question isn't here, I'm always happy to have a chat.

    What's included in a trip with Marigold?

    Every trip is chauffeur-driven by me. You'll be collected from a previously agreed location, taken on your journey, and returned back to your starting location. A stop halfway through at a venue of your choice is included, so you can sit, take in the view, and order whatever takes your fancy.

    Is there a fridge on board?

    Yes. Marigold has a fridge, so you're welcome to bring your own picnic food or drinks along to store and keep cool during the trip.

    Can we take a trip in colder weather?

    Absolutely. Marigold has an upgraded heater, so even on chillier days you'll stay warm and comfortable inside. Don't let the season put you off, autumn and winter trips can be just as magical, with crisp air, quieter roads, and a cosier ride.

    Who drives Marigold?

    I drive every trip myself. All hires are chauffeur-driven by me, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. There's no self-drive option.

    Where do we get picked up and dropped off?

    Collection is from a location agreed with you in advance. At the end of the trip, you'll be returned back to that same starting location.

    Can we stop somewhere along the way?

    Yes. A stop halfway through the trip is included, at a venue of your choice. It's a chance to stretch your legs, take in the view, and order refreshments if you wish (food and drink are at your own cost).

    How many passengers can Marigold carry?

    Marigold seats up to four passengers.

    Where can we go? Any ideas?

    Trips can go anywhere across Essex, not just Southend. Here are a few of my recommendations to get you thinking: Chalkwell to East Beach Cafe for a stop and back; Southend to Battlesbridge for tea on the bus and back; Rochford to RHS Hyde Hall and back. These are just suggestions, the route is entirely up to you.

    Can the trip go anywhere in Essex?

    I'm based in Essex but happy to travel further. The price will vary according to your starting location, so just get in touch and I'll sort something out that suits you.

    What if I want something a little different?

    Bespoke trips can be arranged to suit you. Whether it's a particular route, a special occasion, or an idea all of your own, just tell me what you have in mind and I'll see what I can do.
